Specialist premium car finance provider JBR Capital has revealed the ten cars from the Geneva International Motor Show for which it has received the most finance enquiries – and the costs for potential buyers.
JBR offers finance to private owners and businesses for classic, prestige and racing cars, lending as much as £10m for the purchase of highly specialised machines. The recent Geneva show included several manufacturers unveiling extremely high-end vehicles, including Nurburgring lap record holders, contenders to be the world's fastest car and limited production racing cars.
The car most enquiries centered on was the Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder. This convertible version of Lamborghini's V10 roadgoing track toy would cost £238,000 if you showed up with cash in hand. JBR's finance calculations showed it could be yours for 48 monthly payments of £2,625.81, with a £23,800 deposit and a final payment of £142,800.
The cheapest car in the top ten was Porsche's 911 GT3 RS. It's no longer the fastest 911 in the stable, but it does have the most powerful non-turbo engine Porsche has ever made, with 513bhp. That would require a payment of £1,561.61 each month for four years, with a £14,200 deposit and £85,200 final payment. It was the third most popular car in JBR's list, just behind the Ferrari 488 Pista, a race-car derived version of the 488 which would cost you £2,485.47 a month.
By far the most expensive on the list is the Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro. This is a pure racer – a more hardcore version of the Valkyrie, jointly developed by Aston Martin and the Red Bull Racing F1 team. Using a 1,000bhp Cosworth V12 and hybrid energy recovery systems, each of the 25 AMR Pro cars should hit 225mph, and reach 200mph in under ten seconds. The cash price is £3m, but JBR's finance package is a more reasonable £25,972 each month – or the price of a Toyota GT86 every month for four years.
The most unusual car on the list is the Corbellati Missile. Although ranking fifth in JBR's most enquired about vehicles, it has no list price yet. The 9.0-litre, V8 car is made by an Italian family better known for art and jewellery, but with an estimated top speed of 310mph it could be the fastest car ever made, if it reaches production. With no idea how much it will cost, JBR doesn't give a finance deal just yet.
